As is the way of many village schools this one in Salcott closed a long time ago. It has been renovated and is now used as the village hall. The bell is still in its cote but the chiming mechanism, a rope or wire attached to a bar on the headstock, is no longer. For further information about the village hall see:- Salcott Village Hall
