FT1511 - Tiefort Mountain - San Bernadino County, CA - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This benchmark is located on top of Tiefort Mountain, set in stone, but not in the ground. It is located on the NASA research station catwalk, or was when I found it. There is a helipad on top of the mountain, or you can climb the mountain. The hike is about 3 miles. Start at the parking area at the base on the North side and follow the power lines.

NOTE: This is located on an active military installation within the area of range control. You must have a valid picture ID to get on post and must get clearance from range control to enter the training area.
