Nationwide Arena's major tenant are the Columbus BlueJackets of the National Hockey League, but there are many other events held here throughout the year.
Other events include rodeo, NCAA basketball, mixed martial arts, concerts and trade shows. The Arena District around the centre has a number of restaurants, bars and retail shops so it's a neat place to hang out for a couple of hours before the puck drops [insert appropriate starting motion here].
It opened in 2000 and has attendance capacity of 18-21,000 depending on the event.
