The beach is located at the base of a ~100' cliff. From the top there is a long and winding ramp carved out of the rock as well as an electric lift.
The beach is volcanic sand. There is a free use area and an area where admission is charged (around 10 euros, I think). In addition to the beach hut rentals there are restaurants, drinking spots and umbrellas.
