Displayed in an entire room of its own this model railroad display tells the story of a train's journey from Minneapolis MN to Duluth MN. Based upon an actual rail route the intricate model shows the route from the large city through the rural countryside all the way to the port of Duluth in northern MN. The display captures the city landscape as well as rural and northwoods locations.
Created, built and maintained by the Pine County History Museum Rail Road club, the group is always in search of volunteers, donated materials and research information.
