Ferdinand Ceccaldi called also Fiorello (*1802 - †1869) was physician and General of the armies of the Emperor Napoleon III, commander of Girolata fort. He was also surgeon general of military health services, chief physician of the hospital of Constantine (Algeria) in 1841-1851 and died in Evisa in 1869.
The bust is work of sculptor J. Mariotti from 1963.
