Welcome to Lamppost Pizza! This restaurant is full of waymarks! In addition to providing Family Karoake Night every Saturday (read above) they have a FREE WiFi hotspot, they offer a Kids-Eat-Free night on Thursdays (a waymark); The FIRST restaurant in Reno to accept the virtual Bitcoin (a waymark); they are a regional pizza restaurant (a waymark); and finally, they offer a a takeout/delivery menu (yet another waymark). SEVEN waymarks in one location!!! I just wish the family were hungry for pizza at 11 am when we passed by, else we would have patronized this place. We will definitely come back another time now that I know how popular this restaurant is. Established in May, 1976 by Mr. Angelo Barro and his sons, Tom and Dan, Lamppost has grown from three individual establishments to a successful chain of over 40 restaurants operating in several California counties, Texas, and now Reno. Innovative, creative, disciplined grass roots marketing coupled with superior products, friendly, neighbor-down-the-street service, and a fun, family-oriented atmosphere fuel Lamppost's success.
