Formerly the Meeker News, the paper was established in 1976, with the current name change in 2013. With a circulation of 1200, it serves the towns of Meeker, Harrah, McLoud and Newalla.

The paper is published once a week on Thursday and covers a full complement of news, sports, business, and community events. The paper is headquartered in the downtown Meeker area in a one-story brick storefront.
