This 975 acre park offers access to the 72,000-acre Thurmond Lake (aka Clarks Hill Lake) which is excellent for fishing and boating activities. Wildwood Park has been voted Best Campground in Columbia County and Metro Augusta by readers of the Columbia County Magazine.

Wildwood Park was chosen to be the home of the International Disc Golf Center. Here there are three championship disc golf courses, the Headrick Memorial Museum and the Disc Golf Hall of Fame.
