Location: The official address for Priam Way Park is 99 Priam Way, Ottawa, Ontario. This small park stretches, along its longest dimension, for about 60 meters from its Priam Way entrance on the west, to Florizel Avenue on the east. The park sits against the southwestern edge of the Bells Corners neighbourhood of Ottawa, Ontario. Bells Corners is a small, largely residential, community, formerly part of the City of Nepean before it was annexed by the City of Ottawa. Bells Corners is entirely surrounded by the City of Ottawa's Greenbelt.

Description: Priam Way Park is one of the smallest parks in Bells Corners. It derives its name from the street that gives it its address. The park serves primarily as a pleasant, wide, shortcut that enables local pedestrians and bicyclists to move from one street to the other much more efficiently. The park’s limited size precludes the presence of very many recreational facilities. However, the presence of some bench seating, some playground equipment and swings, and some landscaping, help ensure that it functions as an actual park, rather than solely as a municipal shortcut pathway.

Another feature of the park derives from the fact that the boundary for the southwest portion of Bells Corners is largely defined by a fence that separates the community from the surrounding Greenbelt. The fence helps keep residents and the local deer, porcupine, and rabbit populations separate, for the safety of both the people and the wildlife. However, in several places, including Priam Way Park, there are gates that give residents access to the Greenbelt and the many recreational trails that run through it. Interestingly, there is a similar, larger, shortcut a short distance away (N45 18.803, W075 50.203), connecting Florizel Avenue with Forestview Crescent. That shortcut, though equally well maintained, is not listed as a park, presumably because, although it has comparable landscaping, benches, an access gate to the Greenbelt, and is better suited to playing catch or throwing a Frisbee, it lacks any playground equipment.
