Boundary pole country estate Maarsbergen with the arms of abbot from Berne; Theodorus (Dirck) Spiering van Well (abbot from 1552-1584)
The same arms can be found at his gravestone in a meadow near the old Abbey in Berne. The abbey in Berne burned down when he was the abbot.
The arms show the wheel of Heusden. Maarn and Maarsbergen together formed a manor owned by the Abbey of Bern near Heusden. The arms can also be found at boundary poles in Heusden.
