This water pump was restored for the Millennium by the parish council.

The pump was originally a simple hand pump, with a stone trough below. These days it is electrically operated and the attached blue plaque tells the story.

LOW WELL
For years this was the main
water supply to the village. In the twentieth
century the flow dried up. To celebrate
the millennium the Parish Council reinstated
the well with a recycling pump.
Therefore this is
