There is a reason that Reunion Tower and the now-demolished Reunion Arena were named so, and this Texas Historical Marker explains it. Located near the north end of Stevens Park Golf Course, west of Hampton Road, Dallas, TX.
Waymark Code: WMKHMR

Obviously, this granite monument was grandfathered into the Texas Historical Marker program. The marker is easily-located, just off the trail near the north end of the golf course. If there is an intersection to use as a benchmark, this section of golf course is located near Hampton Road and Old Orchard Drive. It's probably best to park along one of the streets to the east of the golf course, and then be careful about crossing Hampton Road.
Marker Number: 6755

Marker Text:
Site of the French Colony La Reunion. Settled 1854. Placed by Jane Douglas Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution April 10, 1924
