Puvodne na tomto míste stával stredoveký kostel ze 13. století, opevnen byl roku 1280. Nekolikrát vyhorel (v letech 1643, 1674, 1679, 1780). Po požáru roku 1873 byl na jeho míste roku 1880 postaven novogotický kostel podle projektu B. Waschmanna.

Originally on the site was a medieval church from the 13th century. Burned down several times (in 1643, 1674, 1679, 1780). After a fire in 1873 was in its place in 1880 built a neo-Gothic church, designed by B. Waschmann.
