Architectural Style: Chicago, Other.In this historic building, a large department store was remodeled in 1976 into numerous specialty shops such as Made in Oregon and a tempting variety of restaurants and cafes that surround the original airy 75-foot atrium. The Galleria was one of Portland's first historic buildings to be renovated for commercial use. The Western Culinary Institute (le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts and Patisserie & Baking Programs), Galleria, is Portland's Premiere Culinary School with reasonably priced, gourmet cuisine.
