This Anglican Chapel, formerly known as St.Mary's Chapel but now just Little Braxted Chapel was built by the Rev. Ernest Geldart when he was the incumbent of the parish. He built it attached to his rectory in 1896, the rectory is now Braxted Place. He also carried out much beautifying work in the parish church of St.Nicholas further north in the other part of Little Braxted. In contrast to the parish church the chapel interior is fairly basic and no paintings adorn the walls but some original stencilling remains on the roof timbers.

The chapel is now Grade II listed, built of red brick some possibly re-used C18th, it has a red plain tiled roof. Of a single storey the left wall is irregularly stepped to a rounded gable which is surmounted by a fine wrought iron cross. The gable has a moulded brick circular window with stained glass. The central plank and muntin doorway has a segmental arch and moulded brick label. The east side, left-hand side looking to the main door, has three small chamfered segmental head windows with stained glass and a large 32 light timber-framed window at the south-east end. It can seat about twelve people.

There are no regular services at this chapel.
