One of the large array of farm implements in their collection, this potato planter is on display in a long equipment shed at the south end of the Creston Museum.

One of two potato planters on display at the museum, this would be the newer and more advanced of the two. It was made by John Deere, who at one time or another made every type of agricultural implement known to man. Here's how it worked:

This area may once have raised a considerable amount of potatoes, as this museum has two potato planters and a potato digger on display.
