Late 19th century wooden jailhouse and cage. The jail was originally located in Tuscarora, NV, a mining town near Elko in NE NV. The town was a booming mining town at the time, and the jail saw some fair use. The jail contained 2 cells and space for the guard.

The town is a small shadow of its former self today. The jail and cage were moved to the Clark County Heritage Museum, and are located in the museum's "Ghost Town" section, along with other period buildings and artifacts.
