This is a red brick, turn of the century, school house, located in rural Montgomery County, Indiana. This old school is near the junction of US136 and County Road 550 West, on the south side of US136, between Crawfordsville and Waynetown, in Wayne Township.
There is a dated stone above the door that reads:-
"No.7
1910"
There is a bell tower, although no sign of a bell there anymore.
Just to the west of this building is a red brick former Methodist Episcopal Chapel, dating from 1901. Behind the school and chapel is a cemetery, associated with the chapel.
