From the intersection with US97 in Redmond, travel E on Evergreen Avenue, then generally ESE on ORE126 for about 3.3 miles. Park and walk cross-county through light brush S for 3.0 mile, then W for 1.0 mile to the corner.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on pipe in a collar of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
There is a Carsonite witness post with a SURVEY MARKER decal. Found four blazed and scribed western juniper trees each with a washer on a chaining nail. There are no yellow BEARING TREE tags. Based on field-measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, this corner bears S88.7°W from WAYMARK WMK8A5, 5293' distant.


What property is this mark defining?:
Survey history is found in Deschutes County Surveyors Office, Oregon Corner Restoration Record No. 1295. Corner is on the Third Standard Parallel South. Land NE of the corner is private property; else Bureau of Land Management land.
