In downtown El Cajon, which is being refurbished and remodeled, there is an older Salvation Army Store that has provided second-hand goods to the community for many years.

I have been coming to this store for many years. It always has an intersting selection of goods, including large appliances such as washers, dryers, and stoves.
The store has a second floor where you can find both furniture, and luggage . . .
As mentioned, the downtown area has been going through a lot of beneficial changes lately. The formerly-run-down used bookstore across the street, has been converted to these nicely-remodeled shops.
Ample parking is available in back of the store accessible from East Douglas Avenue or the alley.
Cater-corner from the Salvation Army store you will find a Starbucks coffee shop.
Visit Instructions:A new log for any Waymarks in the Thrift Store category could include a brief mention of the store's condition and that of its merchandise. Was it clean and well-organized? That would be nice to know.
