Located in front of Owens Hall on the Oregon Institute of Technology (OIT) campus and in front of an obelisk dedicated to all graduating Surveying classes are a few dedicated benches made of wood. This particular bench has a small, metal plaque that reads:
In Loving Memory of
Dr. Erik Peterson
I couldn't locate any pertinent information on Dr. Peterson but can only conclude that he was a professor of OIT at one time.
