A sandstone Marian column, which is standing next to the church was build by native a sculptor Roman Podrázský (February 24, 1943 – April 2nd, 2001), whose works can be found all around the Czech Republic – in Prague, Plzen, Liberec, Jihlava, Sokolov, Jáchymov, Zlín, Lipnice nad Sázavou, Krucemburk or in Havlíckuv Brod.
The column evokes a tree trunk with Holy Virgin and the Saviour and prayer beads on its top. The column was created in 1998 and was the only Marian column to be sanctified, in our country in the 20th century.
