St David's church shows 13th and 14th century construction, but was built on 6th century foundations. The Church tower has a peal of Six Bells and is central to Laleston village, Bridgend, South Wales.

"The church has a peal of six bells, with a combined weight of over 50 cwts. Five were installed in 1903, and named after members of the founder’s family. They are the treble “Nellie”, number two “Willie”, number three “Connie”, number five, “Madalena” and the tenor “Dorothy”. The sixth bell, number four, was installed by the ringers in 1993.
Ringing practice is held every Wednesday evening between 6:00 and 7:30 pm, catering for all levels of proficiency, from novices who have yet to lay hand on a rope to expert change ringers. The tower is pleased to welcome visiting bands of ringers.
