Overlook at top of Ceremonial Rock in Patrick’s Point State Park on the northern California Coast, 25 miles north of Eureka and 56 miles south of Crescent City. Ceremonial Rock is an fossil sea stack which is located on a wave cut platform about 200 feet above current sea level. The rock itself is another 90 feet high. A rock stairway was built by the CCC’s and consists of 92 steps in three segments separated by landings.
