Known as Muralha Primitiva, Cerca Velha, Muralha Antiga or Muralha Românica, this wall was originally built by the Romans and rebuilt in the 12th Century. Only a small bit of it - originally it had a perimeter of 750 m - can still be seen, in Sé area.
