The churchyard is well maintained with the majority of headstones still standing. Despite the age of many headstones they can almost all be "read" probably due to the lack of industrial pollution in this rural environment.

The text on the chosen headstone reads:

In Loving Memory of
Violet Gertrude Isobel
Archer
A dear wife & mother
who died 28th Aug 1982
aged 78 years
and her dear husband
Arthur Robert Archer
who died 9th Jan 1987
aged 84 years

The church was built on this site in 1291 and has undergone additions over the years as well as repairs and alterations.

Name of church or churchyard: All Saints Lyddington

Approximate Size: Large (100+)
