Charlie and Linda Burns have added a barn quilt to their outdoor decor. After constructing a garage on their acreage in 2012, they decided a barn quilt would look fitting on the West end of the building.
The quilt design is called "North Star". Since they live in Minnesota, the 'North Star State', they liked the idea of putting that on their garage. The dark red color they chose matches the red of the garage, the other colors round out the Americana theme they wanted to use.
The quilt is located at:
5121 130th St NW, Mazeppa, MN. From Hwy 52 take Exit 68 and drive East on Co. Rd. 12 to Co. Rd. 18. Take Co. Rd. 18 North to 130th St. (approx. 1/4 mi.). Turn East to 5121 (approx. 1/8 mi.). The Barn Quilt is visible from 130th St.
