This fire station, originally in the little town of Tumtum is station #4 in Fire District #1, and is now in the Stone Lodge area, just down the road. It still bears the name Tum Tum.

Stevens County Fire District #1 covers the unincorporated communities of Clayton, Deer Lake, Ford, Loon Lake, Suncrest, Tum Tum, Williams Valley and the Town of Springdale. Stevens Fire District 1 services these communities through 8 stations with 60 paid and volunteer members. On a large lot, the grounds of this station are also used for training.
