From the US97 exit in Redmond, continue generally SW on SW Airport Way for about 0.3 mile. Turn right on SW 19th Street and continue S for 0.8 mile. Park and walk S for 0.6 mile to the Third Standard Parallel. Walk E for 1.0 mile, 0.8 mile along a barbed wire fence, to the corner.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on iron pipe in a mound of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
There is an orange Carsonite post with a SURVEY MARKER decal. Found four western junipers with partly healed, scribed blazes. Each has a nail and washer, and all except one have yellow BEARING TREE tags. There is a remnant of paneling material indicating that the corner was used in an aerial survey.


What property is this mark defining?:
The corner is on the Third Standard Parallel. Survey history is found in Deschutes County Surveyors Office, Oregon Corner Restoration Record No. 1294.
