Located within Mt. Laki Cemetery sits a dedicated bench, the only one in this cemetery and near a welcome sign and map of the cemetery in the northern part of the property. The bench reads 'IN MEMORY OF JUNE OREM'. I located a web page for June on FindaGrave.com here.

Coincidentally, I went to high school with June's grandson, Gannon, in 1985. Gannon took his own life at the young age of 16. It was a sad time at our school following his death as well as another student's death due to suicide.
