Moore Park is Klamath Falls' largest and best maintained park in the city. Located within the park is a very nice playground that sits on what used to be a good-sized wading pool that kids would splash and play in during the summer months. I know this because I was once a lifeguard at the wading pool for a summer in 1987. The concrete wading pool was dug out many years and replaced with this playground about 10 years ago. It was updated with new play equipment a few years ago and now sports a small rock climbing wall and a picnic table. Unfortunately, the city replaced the older and much larger swings with smaller ones (they disassemble them during the winter). This playground has become more popular with families during the late spring and summer months due to the newer equipment here.
Moore Park is open daily from dawn to dusk. Gates close off the park once the sun sets each night.
