When you are on MO-86 and you arrive at Farm Road 1247, also known as Davis Road, you will see a sign for Liberty Cemetary (sic). Turning onto FR1247, you turn left at the very first road, which has a mailbox next to it, because it serves as both a private driveway and access to the cemetery. When the road splits, stay to the right. There are No Trespassing signs on both sides of the road because the owners want you to simply stay on the cemetery lane and respect everything else.
This would have been a churchyard cemetery, except that Liberty Church is long gone. The cemetery is kept in good condition. FindAGrave lists only 43 interments whilst rootsweb lists 48 interments in Liberty Cemetery at the time of this waymark listing. Aside from some markers that have no dates, the oldest recorded burial is from 1895, and the latest is from 1979.
