This Water Tower is a Moore Air Base which is about 15 miles northwest of McAllen, Texas.

Moore Air Base was an aviation training field during World War II and the Korean War. It has housed research offices of the United States Department of Agriculture since 1960.
The double ellipsoidal tank is painted white with "USDA" painted in black on the side. It is supported by six steel legs and a center standpipe.
