This field hosts the West Linn Lions teams, including football and lacrosse teams. The Lions football team can boast of reaching the 2013 Oregon 6A semi-finals. If you would like to attend a game here there is parking immediately north of the field. Be sure to wear your best green and gold attire to support the Lions.
William C. Gregory, for whom the field is named, was a teacher and principal in the district for 33 years, serving at Bolton, Sunset, Willamette and Cedar Oak. Gregory served as the "Voice of the Lions" as he was the PA announcer for all football and boys' basketball games for 39 years.
