This cemetery is only about 250 feet northwest of Snoderly Cemetery, although the topographic maps have them switched. The Williams Cemetery has newer graves and is surrounded by a fence, whereas the Snoderly Cemetery has a sign declaring that it was established in 1862, and it is in a field off of a private driveway. The contributor to FindAGrave decided to merge them together for the purposes of reporting graves, even though someone else also started a
stub entry for Williams Cemetery. Of the 87 interments listed in the combined entry in FindAGrave at the time of this posting, about 55 to 60 were in the newer Williams Cemetery.
Although there are some undated grave markers, the oldest recorded, which is in the Snoderly Cemetery, is from 1869, and the newest -- 2 from 1965 -- are in the Williams Cemetery. No Snoderlys are recorded (perhaps their grave markers are unreadable), but there are Williams family grave markers in both cemeteries.
