Unfortunately, the Museum does not have placards at the site to provide more information about the pictographs on display here. Some of the pictographs are in the courtyard and others in the Museum proper.

A search on the Museum's website (visit link) fails to raise any information as well.

The Museum explores the cultural history of El Salvador. This website about rock art in El Salvador's Corinto Cave mentions the Museum as one of the parties working to preserve and protect this site. (visit link)
Type of Pictograph: Petroglyph

Visit Instructions:
1. You may log as many different waymarks as you wish but you may only log each one once.

2. You must include a close up photo of the pictograph and your GPSr. The pictograph must be recognizable.

3. Tell a little bit about what you learned of the area.
