These four basketball half-courts are located just south of the historic Smithfield Tabernacle in the center of Smithfield.

These half-courts are in terrible shape. Since they also serve as a parking lot, cars may block any or all courts. The two south courts have no hoops at all on the backstops, the hoops on the other two are loose and tilted, probably from amateur slam-dunkers. The two south courts, whose playing area overlaps, have a large depression in the pavement that poses a real safety hazard. There are no markings whatsoever (other than parking space delineations) on any of the courts.
