The Porch is located in an old house in Old Town Burleson. They are best known for their breakfasts -- try the Hangover Omelet! -- but they have a full menu (see gallery) for lunch and dinner as well. For breakfast, you can choose from omelets, egg dishes, benedicts, sandwiches, and all the classic stuff you like in a breakfast joint. For lunch and dinner, there are salads, sandwiches, and entrées like chicken fried steak, liver and onions, catfish, and other down home cookin'. Drinks are coffee, tea, or soft drinks, no alcohol unless you BYOB. Beware of their pies and cheesecake, which you should consider before eating too big of a meal.
They are kid-friendly, have plenty of space and a patio for seating, including for groups, and they accept cash and all the major credit cards. Reservations are not necessary, but are accepted.
