The La Grande City Hall now occupies what was once the Federal Building in La Grande.

This Georgian Revival-style building was built in 1911 and was occupied by the Post Office until 1963. Other Federal agencies used the building for office space until 1980. La Grande acquired it for use as its city hall and dedicated it for that purpose on August 13, 1982.
