This subway station is for the B, D, and E trains. This is the closest subway station to Times Square. From here you ca take the subway from out of the city or just a city hopper. The subways come every few minuets so the wait is not that long. On hot summers, the station does get really, really hot. You do need to buy a ticket to use the subway. You can do that online or at any station including this one. The station is about 50 feet below street level so it is below sea level. If you come here early, you can get a seat on the bench, or you can just hope right on the train without even waiting.
