Mount Nemrut - Tatvan, Turkey - Volcano Watching on Waymarking.com

This is an interesting Volcano, with amazing surroundings and easy access. The base to get to the top will probably be the friendly town of Tatvan, established in the shore of Lake Van. From there, it's 13 km up to the top, plus 5 or 8 km more to go down to the lake. A new road is being build, which lead directly to the top.

It's possible to camping and actually it's common, specially during the Summer. There are hot springs and a beautiful landscape waiting for the visitor.
