This rail car, now located in central Dawson Creek, was once part of the Northern Alberta Railway. The car is located at Mile 0 of the Alaska Highway.

Incorporated in 1929 under the joint ownership of the Canadian National and the Canadian Pacific Railway Companies, the Northern Alberta Railway was the result of the amalgamation of 4 marginal railways in the northern part of the Province of Alberta in Western Canada.
