The bench mark is located on a post on the East side of the building. The post is just East of the main entrance of the building. The inscription on the disk reads US Geological Survey B.M. 250 Dollars fine for disturbing. Elevation/above sea/3979 feet /datum. The disk is in good condition. There is ample parking located at the visitors parking area adjacent to the police department.
