The Mt. Burney Theatre was built in 1940 by George and Stella Tyler. The theatre opened it doors on June 19, 1940 and has only five owners since then. Since the present owner purchased it in 1997, the theatre has been refurbished and now features digital sound and new comfortable seating and most recently a digital projection system.
