From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally N on Pine Street, FR2058, for 4.2 miles to the intersection with Indian Ford Road. Turn left and continue on Indian Ford Road for 1.2 miles to the corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe in a ring of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is about 230' E of Indian Ford Road. There are two Carsonite witness posts with LAND SURVEY MARKER and PROPERTY BOUNDARY decals. Found a western juniper and ponderosa pine with healed or scribed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the reverse sides. The juniper has a 60d nail at the base for measuring distance and a nail with washer stamped PLS 1938. A 2" brass cap on iron pipe set by A. Perry and stamped by R. Oman bears S39°E, 14.3' distant. According to F. Ast this corner was improperly set.


What property is this mark defining?:
The land SW of the corner is private property, else National Forest.
