Steamboat Springs is hometown of 79 Winter Olympic athletes since 1932, more than any other town in the USA. This plaque highlights some of the athletes.

Missing are several such as Johnny Spillane (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Spillane) since he medaled after this plaque was created or women such as Deborah Rae "Debbie" Armstrong (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Debbie_Armstrong), a US Gold Medalist in Alpine Skiing.

This plaque is found in the entrance of Howelsen Lodge at Howelsen Hill in Steamboat Springs. There is no fee to enter the lodge.
