Building 9 was built as a duplex in 1886-87. The woodframed two story building has a rectangular shaped plan. The building has a veranda style porch along the south elevation which wraps around the east and west elevations. The building had modification since it construction however the facade of the building was restored to its historical appearance by the City of Vancouver with a project ending in 1988.
