You are at the site of building 122, a 190000 square foot warehouse that was once part of the Oakland Naval Supply Depot. The depot, a 541 acre complex built during World War II, was one of the two primary supply centers for the Navy's Pacific Fleet. Building 122 was used for storage of general supplies. Its irregular shape allowed for rail service on all sides. This warehouse covered more ground than any other building at the depot."
