The Civic Center was named for the town's first mayor and active civic organizer Donn Wooden (1940-2012). It is available for rent and is used regularly by many of the town's civic and community-oriented organizations. Its proximity to the town park directly across the street make it ideal for activities which require both outdoor and indoor facilities. It is the site of the Alpine Car Show in the latter part of August.
